She is best known for her roles in the films 'The Olsen Gang' (1968), 'The Olsen Gang in Jutland' (1971), 'The Olsen Gang on the Track' (1975), and 'The Olsen Gang Sees Red' (1976). Rasmussen began her career in the 1950s, appearing in several Danish films. She made her international debut in the 1968 film 'The Olsen Gang', which was a huge success in Denmark. She went on to appear in several other Olsen Gang films, as well as other Danish films and television shows. Rasmussen has been married twice, first to actor Jørgen Reenberg and then to actor Poul Bundgaard. She has two children, a son and a daughter. Rasmussen has been honored with several awards, including the Danish Film Academy's Bodil Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1971 for her role in 'The Olsen Gang in Jutland'.
