Abdul-Razzak Al-Adwani is a Kuwaiti politician and diplomat who served as the Prime Minister of Kuwait from 1965 to 1966. He was born in 1927 in Kuwait City, Kuwait. He studied at the American University of Beirut and graduated with a degree in law in 1950. Al-Adwani began his political career in 1952 when he was appointed as the Minister of Justice. He then served as the Minister of Education from 1954 to 1956. In 1965, he was appointed as the Prime Minister of Kuwait and served until 1966. Al-Adwani was also a diplomat and served as the Kuwaiti Ambassador to the United States from 1966 to 1972. He was also the Kuwaiti Ambassador to the United Nations from 1972 to 1975. Al-Adwani was a member of the Kuwaiti National Assembly from 1975 to 1981. He was also a member of the Kuwaiti Supreme Council of Planning and Development from 1981 to 1985. Al-Adwani was awarded the Order of Kuwait in 1965 and the Order of Merit in 1975. He died in Kuwait City in 2020 at the age of 93.
