Abidur Reza Khan is a Bangladeshi politician who served as the Minister of Home Affairs from 1975 to 1977. He was born on 22 September 1927 in Bhedarganj Upazila, Shariatpur District. He was educated at the University of Dhaka and obtained a degree in law. Khan was a member of the Awami League and was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan in 1970. He was appointed as the Minister of Home Affairs in 1975 and served until 1977. He was also a member of the Constituent Assembly of Bangladesh in 1972. Khan was a member of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and was elected to the Jatiya Sangsad in 1979. He was re-elected in 1986 and 1991. He was also a member of the Bangladesh Awami League from 1996 to 2001. Khan was awarded the Independence Day Award in 2020 for his contribution to the liberation war of Bangladesh. He is currently 78 years old.
