Alan Fletcher is an Australian actor best known for his role as Dr. Karl Kennedy on the long-running soap opera Neighbours. He was born on 30 March 1957 in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. He is 63 years old.
Fletcher began his career in the theatre, appearing in productions of The Rocky Horror Show, The Pirates of Penzance, and The Boyfriend. He made his television debut in the Australian drama series The Sullivans in 1979.
In 1985, Fletcher joined the cast of Neighbours, playing the role of Dr. Karl Kennedy. He has remained with the show ever since, making him one of the longest-serving cast members. He has also appeared in the spin-off series Neighbours: Erinsborough High and the feature film Neighbours 2: Sorority Rising.
Fletcher has also appeared in a number of other television series, including Blue Heelers, Stingers, and City Homicide. He has also appeared in the films The Wog Boy and The Wannabes.

In 2018, Fletcher combined his interests in travel and photography in a reality television program Photo Number 6. Fletcher explores the world with actor and director, Stig Wemyss, as they seek travel experiences that go beyond the tourist guidebook and delve into the heart and soul of the places. They look for photographic images that encapsulate emotion, geography and human connections.
In May 2013, along with Saskia Hampele, he presented the award of Best Newcomer to Joseph Thompson at the British Soap Awards.
