Lee's career began in the early 1960s, when he joined the British band The Crickets. He then went on to play with the Everly Brothers, Joe Cocker, and Eric Clapton. He has also released several solo albums, including Albert Lee (1980), Hiding (1982), and Road Runner (1985). In addition to his musical career, Lee has also acted in several films, including The Blues Brothers (1980) and The Commitments (1991).
