Aleksandar Zorić is a Serbian cyclist who was born on 17 October, 1925 in Zemun, Serbia. He is best known for his achievements in the Tour de France, where he won the King of the Mountains title in 1956 and 1958. Zorić began his cycling career in 1945, when he joined the cycling club in Zemun. He quickly rose to prominence, winning the Yugoslavian National Championship in 1948 and 1949. He also won the Tour of Yugoslavia in 1950 and 1951. In 1956, Zorić competed in the Tour de France for the first time. He won the King of the Mountains title, becoming the first Yugoslavian cyclist to do so. He repeated this feat in 1958, becoming the first cyclist to win the title twice. Zorić retired from professional cycling in 1962. He continued to be involved in the sport, however, serving as a coach and mentor to younger cyclists. He was also a member of the Yugoslavian Olympic Committee. Zorić is now 75 years old. His net worth is not publicly known.
