Alexandre Najjar (born February 5, 1967) is an award-winning Lebanese novelist and literary critic. He was born in Beirut and went to university in Paris. A trained lawyer, he holds a Doctorate in Business administration and is specialized in banking and finance law. He is the author of more than 30 books translated into 12 languages. In addition to poetry and fiction, he has written the biography of Khalil Gibran, the author of The Prophet. and a book about the Arab Spring (Anatomie d'un tyran).
