Alfred Athis was a Polish-Jewish writer and journalist. He was born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1873. He studied at the University of Warsaw and later at the University of Berlin. He was a member of the Jewish literary society, the Yiddish Writers' Union, and the Jewish National Council. Alfred Athis wrote several books, including a novel, "The Jewish People in the Land of Israel" (1908), and a collection of short stories, "The Jewish People in the Land of Israel" (1909). He also wrote several plays, including "The Jewish People in the Land of Israel" (1910) and "The Jewish People in the Land of Israel" (1911). Alfred Athis was a prominent figure in the Jewish literary world of the early 20th century. He was a strong advocate for the rights of Jews in Poland and was a leader in the struggle for Jewish emancipation. He was also a leader in the Zionist movement and was a member of the World Zionist Organization. Alfred Athis died in Warsaw in 1941. He was 68 years old.
