In 2022, she starred alongside Claudia Di Girolamo in Netflix's 42 Days of Darkness. In its opening week, it climbed to the top of the streaming platform's list. 42 Days in the Dark settled into seventh place for the most successful non-English speaking series, accumulating 9.9 million hours viewed since its premiere. Later that year she won best actress award at the Tokyo International Film Festival for her leading role in Manuela Martelli's debut film 1976.

She subsequently began a relationship with the Italian Renzo Melai who died on June 23, 2008 after his motorcycle collided with a truck in Peñalolén. The information, provided by the newspaper La Tercera, indicated that Renzo had been working as an adventure tourism guide since he arrived in Chile in 2000.

In 2004, she returned to Chile and starred in Destinos cruzados and Entre medias, later she was signed by the production company Roos Film, to star in the Chilean adaptation of Montecristo, ending her time in Mega, with a small participation as a guest actress in some episodes of Fortunato, Chilean adaptation of a popular Argentine show.

She made her debut in telenovelas in 1991 with the successful TV series Ellas por ellas de Canal 13 playing Victoria "Vicky". She then changes to TVN where she participates in the teleseries Trampas y caretas and Jaquemate, in the latter she gets her first important role as one of the young protagonists of the story along with Felipe Camiroaga.

Aline was a couple of Álvaro Rudolphy and Luciano Cruz-Coke during de 1990's. She subsequently married actor Bastián Bodenhöfer in 2000 with whom she has a son named Ian, born in 2000. However, this union ended in 2006.

She returned to Chile in the early 1980s, where he studied at La Girouette School at Las Condes. Later he studied theater at Fernando González's academy-club.

In film, she participated in Sangre de Cuba (Dreaming of Julia), a film in which she shared credits with actors such as Gael García Bernal and Harvey Keitel. Celebrated was her performance in Machuca, where she personified María Luisa Infante with great solvency, a wealthy woman immersed in the changes caused by the coup in Chile in 1973. In 2008 she won an Pedro Sienna Award for her role in Andres Wood's The Good Life. In 2011 she participates in Prófugos as the Prosecutor Ximena Carbonell. In 2014 she won an Altazor Award as best television series actress for Ecos del desierto. In 2017, she highlighted her participation in A Fantastic Woman, winner of the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.

Aline Adriana Küppenheim Gualtieri (born 10 August 1969) is a Chilean actress.
