She has also performed in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Browner studied at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music in London. She has released several albums, including her debut album, "Alison Browner Sings Irish Songs" (1985). She has also released several singles, including "The Rose of Tralee" (1986) and "The Parting Glass" (1987). Browner has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Irish Music Association's "Best Female Vocalist" award in 1987 and the Irish Music Association's "Best Female Singer" award in 1988. She has also been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Traditional Folk Album in 1989. Browner is currently married to her husband, John, and they have two children. She is currently living in Dublin, Ireland.
