With the next two movies (3 Beauties (2014), El Peor Hombre del Mundo (2016)), Alvaro won Best Original Score at consecutive editions of Venezuela's Pepsi Music Awards.

2008

Born in Caracas from a Venezuelan-Italian family of professors, Alvaro is one of the most awarded, proactive and versatile musicians of his generation. His first feature film score (Bloques (2008)) granted him a selection to the Mexico Film Composers Lab, curated by the director of Sundance Film Music Program Peter Golub and producer Bertha Navarro (Pan's Labyrinth (2006)).

2005

After relocating to Los Angeles, he assisted Emmy Award-Winning composer Alex Wurman (March of the Penguins (2005)) in the creation of the score for the second season of Amazon series "Patriot (2015)" and co-produced and wrote additional music for feature film "Buddy Games (2019)" starred by Olivia Munn (The Newsroom (2012)) and Josh Duhamel (Transformers (2007)). His unique score for the internationally awarded novel "Liubliana" received rave reviews. With his own symphonic orchestra in Venezuela, Filarmónica Desenredada (untangled philharmonic), Alvaro records music for composers and artists around the world. His work ethic, deep respect for the art of music and comprehensive education have allowed him to work with widely diverse artists: Aldemaro Romero, Natalia Lafourcade, Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra, Luis Enrique, María Teresa Chacín, Becky G, Guaco, Alejandra Guzmán, La Vida Bohéme, Ilan Chester, Ximena Sariñana, Luis Perdomo, Esteman, Anat Cohen, Servando Primera, Pambo, Yordano, Ralph Irizarry, Sofía Reyes among many others.
