Aaron Paul is an American actor best known for his role as Jesse Pinkman in the AMC series Breaking Bad. He has also appeared in films such as Need for Speed, A Long Way Down, and Triple 9.
Paul was born on August 27, 1979 in Emmett, Idaho. He attended Centennial High School in Boise, Idaho, and graduated in 1998. He then attended the Los Angeles Valley College, where he studied acting.
Paul began his acting career in the late 1990s, appearing in television shows such as The X-Files, Melrose Place, and Beverly Hills, 90210. He made his feature film debut in the 2001 film K-PAX.
In 2008, Paul was cast as Jesse Pinkman in the AMC series Breaking Bad. The show was a critical and commercial success, and Paul won several awards for his performance, including three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

In September 2018, Paul joined the cast of the HBO science fiction western series Westworld for the third season, portraying the character Caleb Nichols.
In 2015, he did voiceover narration in a Mazda commercial. In 2016, Paul began playing Eddie Lane, a man who in a life crisis joins a cult but subsequently questions his faith, in the Hulu series The Path, which debuted on March 30, 2016. Paul voiced the main protagonist, Nyx Ulric, in Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, released in July 2016.
In December 2013, Netflix announced that Paul would be a cast member on the animated series BoJack Horseman.
