Aggie Auld was an American actress and singer who was active in the entertainment industry from the 1920s to the 1950s. She was born on March 3, 1905 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Aggie Auld began her career in the 1920s as a singer and dancer in vaudeville and musical theater. She made her Broadway debut in the musical revue "The Passing Show of 1924" and went on to appear in several other Broadway shows, including "The New Yorkers" (1930), "The Band Wagon" (1931), and "The Show Is On" (1936). In the 1930s, Auld began appearing in films, including "The Big Broadcast" (1932), "The Gay Divorcee" (1934), and "The Great Ziegfeld" (1936). She also appeared in several television shows, including "The Ed Sullivan Show" (1948-1955) and "The Colgate Comedy Hour" (1951-1955). Aggie Auld was married to actor and director Robert Riskin from 1934 until his death in 1955. She died on April 28, 1988 in Los Angeles, California.
