Alberto Chedrani is a Honduran politician and lawyer who has served as the President of the National Congress of Honduras since 2014. He was born on 7 March 1957 in La Lima, Honduras. He studied law at the National Autonomous University of Honduras and graduated in 1982. Chedrani began his political career in the early 1990s, when he was elected to the National Congress of Honduras. He served as a congressman from 1994 to 1998 and from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, he was elected to the Honduran Supreme Court, where he served until 2014. In 2014, Chedrani was elected President of the National Congress of Honduras. He was re-elected in 2018 and is currently serving his second term. Chedrani is married and has three children. He is a member of the National Party of Honduras.
