He has published several books, including the novel "The Last of the Macedonians" and the poetry collection "The Poetry of Aleksandar Prokopiev". He has also written several plays and essays, and has been awarded several literary awards. Prokopiev is a member of the Macedonian Writers' Association and the Macedonian PEN Center. He has been awarded the Order of Merit of the Republic of Macedonia, the highest honor in the country. He is also a recipient of the Golden Wreath Award, the highest literary award in Macedonia. Prokopiev is married and has two children. He currently lives in Skopje, North Macedonia.
