Timeline
Alex is currently residing in Austin, TX and Los Angeles, CA where he has formed his own management banner, FR Management. The name is a homage to the endearing nickname the members of King Charles gave him, Fig Roll, hence FR Management, and he is beginning to build his client roster beyond King Charles, though that will remain his top priority throughout the release of the forthcoming album as well as the tour to follow. FR Management will handle musicians and actors, and will release some of the name talent that will be joining forces with him over the coming months. (2015) He is also developing a website and app that will help actors and musicians connect with other managers, help guide them in the right direction as to how to get yourself known by labels and agents, tour manager rosters, a music video channel as well as music library for agents and managers to peruse, combining similar platforms to that of LinkediN, YouTube, Spotify/Soundcloud, and Facebook all under one site giving a comprehensive entertainment lounge of sorts that will be extremely valuable to artists both established and looking for how and where to begin.
Dakota caught fire on July 5, 2010 and took two years to rebuild, reopening exactly two years later on July 5, 2012, only to be sold to an unable-to-be named coffee company for an undisclosed amount. Since then, Alex has worked with several acts in a multitude of capacities from advisor to tour manager to manager, still managing the bad KING CHARLES whom he met through his showcase deal with Universal Music Group, wherein UMG would bring in bands to look at signing. Alex quickly formed a strong friendship with lead singer Charles Costa, which led to his being asked to replace his previous management, Mi7. Starting as an advisor and then becoming manager to King Charles, Alex was instrumental in the production of his sophomore album, Gamble for a Rose (due out January 22, 2016) which was produced by Grammy-winning musician and songwriter Marcus Mumford, from Mumford and Sons.
Owner of Dakota Live Music Lounge. [November 2008].
Born and raised on Galveston Island, Alex became a junior champion surfer at age 16. After years of surfing around the world in competitions, Alex attended USC in the summer of 1995.
