Aksoy studied at the Istanbul Technical University, where he earned a degree in film and television. He began his career as a camera assistant in 2011, and has since worked on a number of feature films and television series. He has also worked as a cinematographer on several short films. Aksoy is currently based in Istanbul, Turkey. He is married and has two children. He enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures.
