Angel Acevedo is an independent producer of films, tv, and digital series. His films have screened at over 60 festivals winning a variety of awards. Some of his credits include: We Need Girlfriends (2006), Odessa (2012), and The Eve (2015). Angel attended Hofstra University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Film Studies and Production. He graduated with four short films under his belt, an award for Best Screenplay for his senior thesis, "Cheesecake," and an award for "Most Outstanding Film Department Senior. " After college, he co-founded Ragtag Productions along with Brian Amyot, and Steven Tsapelas.

2005

With Ragtag, Angel produced numerous award-winning films and web series including Without a Clue (2005), We Need Girlfriends (2006), and My Future Girlfriend (2010). "We Need Girlfriends" became an internet success garnering a major following on MySpace and YouTube.

1998
