Anthony D'Angio is an Australian art director and production designer. He is best known for his work on films such as The Great Gatsby, The Matrix, Moulin Rouge!, and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. D'Angio was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on 18 June 1970. He studied at the Victorian College of the Arts and graduated in 1992. D'Angio began his career in the art department of the Australian television series The Flying Doctors in 1992. He then worked on the Australian films The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and Muriel's Wedding. In 1999, D'Angio moved to Los Angeles and began working in the art department of The Matrix. He then worked on the films The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Moulin Rouge!, The Great Gatsby, and The Hobbit trilogy. D'Angio has won several awards for his work, including an Academy Award for Best Art Direction for The Great Gatsby in 2013.
