Bella Bell-Gam is a Nigerian pentathlete who was born on 24 August, 1956 in Rivers, Nigeria. She is currently 68 years old. Bell-Gam began her career in athletics in the early 1970s, competing in the pentathlon and heptathlon events. She won the Nigerian National Pentathlon Championship in 1975 and 1976, and was the first Nigerian woman to compete in the pentathlon at the Olympic Games, representing her country at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. Bell-Gam has also competed in the African Championships in Athletics, winning the gold medal in the pentathlon in 1979 and 1981. She also won the bronze medal in the heptathlon in 1979. In addition to her athletic career, Bell-Gam has also served as a coach and mentor to young athletes. She is currently the head coach of the Nigerian Women's Pentathlon Team. Bell-Gam is married and has two children. She currently resides in Rivers, Nigeria.
