Brian Walker is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Vancouver Canucks, St. Louis Blues, and Hartford Whalers. He was born on May 4, 1952, in Beaverlodge, Alberta, Canada. Walker played junior hockey with the Edmonton Oil Kings of the Western Canada Hockey League (WCHL) from 1969 to 1971. He was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the first round, 11th overall, in the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Canucks during the 1972–73 season. Walker played in the NHL for 11 seasons, appearing in 545 games and recording a total of 131 goals and 191 assists for 322 points. He also played in the World Hockey Association (WHA) for the Edmonton Oilers and the New England Whalers. Walker retired from professional hockey in 1983. He currently resides in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. His net worth is estimated to be around $2 million.

Drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft, Walker played professionally, mostly with the Fort Wayne Komets of the International Hockey League, but also with the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League. He also played the 1975–76 season in Sweden with Kramfors-Alliansen. Walker helped the Komets to capture the 1973 Turner Cup, but in June 1973, he was struck by a hit-and-run driver and suffered a fractured hip which caused him to miss the entire 1973-74 season, returning to play with the 1974–75 season. Walker retired following the 1976–77 season.
