Cecil Moss is a South African former rugby union player who played for the Springboks from 1951 to 1956. He was born in Riversdale, Western Cape, on 12 February 1925. Moss was a versatile player, playing in the back row, centre and wing. He made his debut for the Springboks against the British Lions in 1951 and went on to play in 11 Tests for South Africa. He scored two tries in the 1956 series against the All Blacks, and was part of the team that won the series 3-1. Moss retired from rugby in 1956 and went on to become a successful businessman. He was inducted into the South African Rugby Hall of Fame in 2008. As of 2021, Cecil Moss's net worth is estimated to be roughly $1 million.

He was head coach of South Africa from 1982 to 1989 and achieved 10 wins and only 2 losses during his time in office. He missed the 1987 Rugby World Cup due to the international sports boycott against his country's apartheid policies.

Moss was vice-captain of the Springboks in 1949, when they beat New Zealand 4–0, and played four winning tests for South Africa, debuting on 16 July 1949.
