2018

Chen's career as a live streamer ended abruptly on 31 July 2018 when her heartless comments over Nanking massacre caused major outrage in China. Chen made fun of the Nanking massacre, a mass murder committed by Japanese troops in 1938 killing over 300,000 people, by saying “Japanese soldiers’ blades were so fast”. While watching a live game stream, she described a scene in the game as "bowing to Yasukuni shrine," referring to the controversial shrine honoring Japanese soldiers, including convicted war criminals.
