Timeline

2009

In January 2009 the band recorded their only e.p with their new heavier sound at Boom Studios in Cheshire and signed to Dapsone Records.

Carr left Blockades in July 2009, citing creative and personal reasons. The band disbanded in August 2009 after being unable to find a suitable replacement.

Currently, Carr is working on a new band in Rotherham after the life affirming struggle of his move from Bradford to Doncaster in late 2009 as well as an acoustic act with ex No Av On The TV/Bombs Below drummer Andy Griggs and surviving members of Right Said Fred.

2008

Carr joined as bassist in October 2008 whilst the band were still called CryGirlCry. The band originally had a post grunge sound and quite an indie orientated fan base, however, Carr brought along a heavier influence which sat well with drummer Danny Barnett's style of song writing which led to the band developing a harder sound.

2007

Carr also briefly booked shows for Leeds punks AB Negative, securing them support slots on the UK Subs 2007 UK Tour.
