Christopher Stone is a British sculptor and painter. He was born in London, England, on 17 September 1955. He studied at the Royal College of Art and the Slade School of Fine Art. He has exhibited widely in the UK and internationally, and his work is held in many public and private collections. Stone's sculptures are often abstract and minimal, and his paintings are often abstract and expressionistic. He is known for his use of bright colors and bold shapes. He has also created a number of public sculptures, including a large-scale installation at the British Museum in London. Stone has been awarded numerous awards and honors, including the Royal Academy of Arts' Charles Wollaston Award in 2000 and the Jerwood Sculpture Prize in 2002. Christopher Stone (born 17 September 1955) is an English sculptor and painter living in Ibiza, Balearic Islands, Spain

Born 17 September 1955 London, England, Christopher attended Holloway County Secondary Modern School (now Holloway Specialist Sports College) after which he obtained a City and Guilds Certificate in Cabinet Making. Christopher went on to undertake two years work experience with artist designer Ralph Hampton in Shaftesbury Dorset. To further his studies Christopher, worked at the prestigious London Art Gallery “De Siedner” in Whitmore Street, London W1. Christopher has made prolonged visits to Aswan, Luxor, and Cairo to study Egyptology, and to the Czech Republic to study eastern European Art. Stone collaborated as artist designer at the Worlds Trade Fair (Expo ‘92) in Seville, Spain, working in both Spanish and British Pavilions. Upon his arrival on Ibiza, Christopher met and collaborated with the Welsh sculptor Barry Flanagan who mentored Christopher’s sculptural talents until Flanagan’s death in August , 2009. Christopher took part in the Acclaimed Midsummer Garden Sculpture Exhibition at Brackenstown House, Swords, Co Dublin, Curated by Oliver Gormley of Gormleys Fine Art. One of his pieces "Tutus II" carved in White Macael Marble from Southern Spain can be seen there today. He is a founding member of Art Resilience movement created in Paris by Ksenia Milicevic in 2014, with headquarters in the Bateau-Lavoir.
