Dan Ar Braz is a French guitarist, composer, and record producer. He is considered one of the most influential figures in the development of Celtic music. He has released over 20 albums, and has collaborated with many other musicians, including Alan Stivell, Carlos Núñez, and Fairport Convention. He has also composed soundtracks for films and television. Braz was born in Quimper, France, and began playing guitar at the age of 12. He studied classical guitar at the Conservatoire de Brest, and later studied jazz at the Conservatoire de Paris. He has released several solo albums, as well as collaborations with other musicians. He has also composed soundtracks for films and television. Braz has won several awards, including the Grand Prix du Disque from the Académie Charles Cros in France, and the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in the UK. He has also been nominated for a Grammy Award.
