Dimitri De Fauw is a Belgian professional cyclist who currently rides for the UCI ProTeam Lotto–Soudal. He was born on 13 July 1981 in Ghent, Belgium. De Fauw began his professional cycling career in 2004 with the Belgian team Chocolade Jacques–Topsport Vlaanderen. He has since ridden for a number of teams, including Quick-Step, Omega Pharma–Lotto, and Lotto–Soudal. De Fauw has had a successful career, winning the Belgian National Road Race Championships in 2008 and the Tour of Flanders in 2009. He has also competed in the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, and Vuelta a España. De Fauw is married to fellow cyclist Annelies Dom and they have two children. He is currently 38 years old.
