Dominique Senequier is a French businesswoman who was born in 1953 in Toulon, France. She is the founder and CEO of AXA Private Equity, a private equity firm. She is also the chairwoman of the board of directors of the AXA Group. Senequier graduated from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris in 1975 and began her career at the Banque Nationale de Paris. She then moved to the AXA Group, where she held various positions, including head of the asset management division. In 1996, Senequier founded AXA Private Equity, which has since become one of the largest private equity firms in Europe. She has been the CEO of the firm since its inception. Senequier has been recognized for her achievements in the business world. She was named one of the "50 Most Influential Women in Private Equity" by Private Equity International in 2011. She was also named one of the "100 Most Influential Women in Business" by Fortune magazine in 2012. As of 2021, Dominique Senequier's net worth is estimated to be approximately $1.2 billion.
