She is best known for her performances in the 1948 Winter Olympics, where she placed fourth in the ladies' singles event. Blanc began skating at the age of six and was coached by her father, who was a former Austrian champion. She competed in the Austrian Championships from 1941 to 1947, winning the title in 1945 and 1947. She also competed in the European Championships in 1947 and 1948, placing fourth in 1947 and fifth in 1948. Blanc competed in the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz, Switzerland, where she placed fourth in the ladies' singles event. She retired from competitive skating after the Olympics and moved to the United States in 1949. Blanc is 84 years old and is currently living in the United States.
