Dov Seltzer is an Israeli composer and conductor. He is best known for his work on the soundtracks of films such as Exodus, The Ten Commandments, and The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz. He has also composed music for television series such as The Avengers and The Six Million Dollar Man. Seltzer was born in Iasi, Romania, and moved to Israel in 1948. He studied at the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem and the Royal Academy of Music in London. He has composed music for over 100 films and television series, and has conducted orchestras in Europe, the United States, and Israel. Seltzer has won numerous awards, including the Israeli Academy Award for Best Music in a Feature Film for Exodus in 1960, and the Israeli Academy Award for Best Music in a Television Series for The Avengers in 1966. He was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Score for The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz in 1974. Seltzer is currently living in Israel. He is 89 years old.
