While recovering from one of his now seven (7) knee surgeries, Mr. Villaume envisioned a better system for the functions of stationary bicycle seats and handlebars to optimize the workout for each individual, allowing customization and movement of seats and handlebars while a person is peddling the stationary bicycle. So thanks to Mr. Villaume, no more hopping on and off the stationary bicycle to adjust the seat...just peddle away and adjust whenever you want, without stopping.

Each time Edward would return home for a visit, his young nephews, nieces, and godchildren would always ask why he had to go back to California. Taking this to heart, Edward made the decision to return to his hometown in 2007 to be with his nephews, nieces, and godchildren as they grew-up. "Being there" for family and friends, especially the children and young adults, is what's most important for Edward. "They only grow-up once, and I didn't want to miss it," he states. He also says that he may return to California.
In 1994, Edward raised $88.5 million in a week to purchase the Minnesota Timberwolves NBA basketball team, preventing the team's move to New Orleans. He created and structured the whole deal and financial plan, pre-approved the deal with the NBA and participating banks, and tirelessly called and put together a group of investors who bought the team. Without Edward's ingenuity and perseverance, Minnesota would have lost its professional basketball team.
Mr. Villaume successfully managed and invested money for high net-worth individuals as well as restructured and managed corporate retirement plans throughout the 1990s.
Edward loves to fly airplanes. He first took the controls of a twin-engine private jet when he was only 9 years old, thanks to a willing pilot. He coaxed the pilot into letting him take the controls. He flew the jet straight for a bit, then decided to take a couple turns, promptly spilling the drinks of a couple passengers and ending his piloting for the day. He began pursuing his private pilot's license in 1985.
