Erkki Korhonen is a Finnish former professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-liiga and the National Hockey League (NHL). He was born on 10 September 1956 in Helsinki, Finland. He is 64 years old. Korhonen began his professional career in 1975 with the SM-liiga's HIFK. He played for HIFK until 1982, when he was drafted by the NHL's Hartford Whalers. He played for the Whalers until 1985, when he returned to Finland to play for TPS. He played for TPS until his retirement in 1991. Korhonen was a two-time SM-liiga champion, winning the championship in 1979 and 1981. He was also a two-time SM-liiga MVP, winning the award in 1979 and 1981. He was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 2002. Korhonen's net worth is estimated to be around $1 million.
