Evangelos Mytilineos is a Greek businessman and entrepreneur who is the founder and chairman of the Mytilineos Group, a leading Greek industrial and energy company. He is also the chairman of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV). Mytilineos was born in Athens in 1954 and studied economics at the University of Athens. He began his career in the steel industry in the early 1980s and founded the Mytilineos Group in 1989. The company has since grown to become one of the largest industrial and energy companies in Greece. Mytilineos is a major shareholder in the Mytilineos Group and is also the chairman of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV). He is a member of the board of directors of the National Bank of Greece and the Hellenic Exchanges. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Hellenic Petroleum Group. Mytilineos is a philanthropist and has donated to various charities and organizations in Greece. He is also a member of the board of trustees of the Onassis Foundation.
