Florian Zeller is a French novelist, playwright, and screenwriter. He is best known for his plays The Father, The Mother, and The Lie. He has also written several novels, including The Fascination of Evil, The Disappearance of Adele Bedeau, and The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair. Zeller was born on 28 June 1979 in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. He studied at the Lycée Henri-IV and the École Normale Supérieure. He then went on to study at the Sorbonne and the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales. Zeller's first novel, The Fascination of Evil, was published in 2004. He has since written several other novels, including The Disappearance of Adele Bedeau, The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair, and The End of Eddy. Zeller's plays have been performed in France, the United Kingdom, and the United States. His play The Father won the Molière Award for Best Play in 2014.
