Floyd Gaugh is an American musician, actor, and composer. He is best known as the drummer and co-founder of the rock band Sublime. He has also appeared in several films and television shows, and has composed music for films and television. Gaugh was born in Long Beach, California, and grew up in the nearby city of Lakewood. He began playing drums at the age of nine, and was influenced by punk rock and reggae music. He attended Lakewood High School, where he met future Sublime bandmates Bradley Nowell and Eric Wilson. Gaugh joined Sublime in 1988, and the band released their debut album, 40oz. to Freedom, in 1992. The album was a commercial success, and the band went on to release two more albums, Robbin' the Hood and Sublime, before Nowell's death in 1996. Gaugh has since gone on to pursue a solo career, releasing two albums, Floyd Gaugh and Friends and Floyd Gaugh and Friends II. He has also composed music for films and television, including the films The Fast and the Furious and The Rundown. He has also appeared in several films and television shows, including the television series Entourage and the film The Hangover Part III. Gaugh is currently married to his wife, Jennifer, and they have two children. He is 54 years old.
