He appeared in several television shows, including The Golden Girls, The Nanny, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. In 2000, Bielec was cast as the carpenter on the home improvement show, Trading Spaces. He quickly became a fan favorite for his friendly and humorous personality. He remained on the show until its end in 2008. In addition to his acting career, Bielec is also an accomplished artist. He has created several pieces of art, including paintings, sculptures, and jewelry. Bielec is currently married to his wife, Mary. They have two children together. He currently resides in Houston, Texas.
