George Noga was an American businessman and philanthropist. He was born in New York City on November 5, 1927. He attended the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a degree in economics. Noga began his career in the banking industry, working for the Bank of New York and then the Bankers Trust Company. He eventually became the president of the Bankers Trust Company in 1975. He was also a director of the New York Stock Exchange and a member of the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. In addition to his banking career, Noga was also a philanthropist. He was a major donor to the University of Pennsylvania, donating millions of dollars to the school. He also donated to numerous other charities, including the United Jewish Appeal, the American Jewish Committee, and the Jewish Theological Seminary. Noga passed away on April 8, 2021 at the age of 96. He was survived by his wife, two sons, and four grandchildren. At the time of his death, Noga had an estimated net worth of $100 million. He earned his wealth through his banking career and philanthropic activities.
