Gwynn Christensen is a former American football coach who served as the head coach of the University of Wisconsin–Madison Badgers from 1967 to 1977. He was born on August 21, 1925 in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Christensen attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he played football and earned a degree in physical education. He began his coaching career at the high school level, coaching at Lake Mills High School from 1949 to 1951. He then moved on to the college level, coaching at the University of Wisconsin–Madison from 1952 to 1966. Christensen was the head coach of the Badgers from 1967 to 1977, leading the team to a record of 59–60–4. He was named Big Ten Coach of the Year in 1972 and was inducted into the Wisconsin Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 1978. Christensen is 92 years old and has a net worth of $1 million.
