Hisham Najem is a Lebanese filmmaker and director. He is best known for his work on the feature films “The Valley” (2015) and “The Valley 2” (2017). He has also directed several short films, including “The Last Day” (2013) and “The Journey” (2014). Najem was born in Baalbeck, Lebanon, and studied film at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts. He has worked as a director, writer, and editor on numerous projects, including music videos, commercials, and documentaries. Najem has won several awards for his work, including the Best Short Film Award at the Beirut International Film Festival for “The Last Day” (2013). He was also nominated for the Best Director Award at the Dubai International Film Festival for “The Valley” (2015). Najem is currently working on his third feature film, “The Valley 3”, which is set to be released in 2021.
