Imran Kabir Himel

From 2013 to 2015, Himel focused on TVC making as he joined forces with one of the top production houses of the nation, RED dot Multimedia Ltd. , where he played major role in materializing almost 50 popular television commercial and two reality shows.

Imran Kabir Himel is a Bangladeshi film maker with a difference. since childhood, Himel showed talent in singing, playing various musical instruments, painting, sketching, drawing comic strips, writing poetry and short stories. After graduating from the renowned North South University, with majoring in Marketing and International business, he started off his career as a corporate in electronics sales and distribution industry. His passion for creative work always found him being involved in creative strategic planning supervision, and execution of various market communication activities for companies he was leading at any given time. However, he let life take its own course, his need for creative practice would lead him switching top positions at companies, changing jobs almost every year in search for work he'd feel passionate about and finally in the beginning of 2011, he was called on board the first international reality show franchise in Bangladesh, Who Wants to be a Millionaire (Ke Hote Chay Kotipoti), and in a month he was overseeing the creative, content, license & regulatory affairs of the industry giant company Delta Bay, having 20+ international reality shows under his belt which included franchise for IDOL, Are you smarter than a five grader, MasterChef, Dragons Den. Before leaving Delta bay, Himel completed 3 major and history making and as well as record breaking reality shows, and a short film for foreign market which premiered in many international film festivals winning a good number of awards and appreciation.
