Jagadambi Prasad Yadav is an Indian politician who has been a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Bihar since 2000. He is a member of the Janata Dal (United) party. Yadav was born on 1 January 1925 in Munger, Bihar and Orissa Province, British India. He completed his primary education in Munger and then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree from Patna University. Yadav began his political career in the early 1970s when he joined the Janata Party. He was elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly in 2000 and has been re-elected in every election since then. He has held various ministerial positions in the Bihar government, including Minister of State for Agriculture, Minister of State for Rural Development, and Minister of State for Public Health Engineering. Yadav is married and has four children. He is 77 years old.
