When Clarkson, Hammond and May all left the programme in 2015, it was widely speculated that Dawe would return to co-present the show. However, Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc were announced as the new presenters, with it officially confirmed that Dawe would not return in favour of new presenters. Dawe now runs a successful Automotive consultancy and film production company.
