Jim Wade was born on 14 February, 1925 in Oklahoma. He was a professional basketball player who played for the NBA's Minneapolis Lakers from 1949 to 1951. He was a two-time All-Star and was named to the All-NBA Second Team in 1950. Wade attended the University of Oklahoma, where he was a two-time All-American and led the Sooners to the 1947 NCAA Final Four. He was inducted into the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame in 1975. Wade was 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weighed 205 pounds. Wade was married to his wife, Mary, for over 60 years. They had two children, a son and a daughter. Wade passed away on April 15, 2019 at the age of 94. At the time of his death, Jim Wade's net worth was estimated to be around $1 million.
