In addition to both serving as Scott Brothers Entertainment's co-founder and executive producers, Jonathan and Drew showcased their longtime passion for music and released two country music songs on iTunes, "Hold On" and "Let The Night Shine In," in 2015.
The show has also spun off several other series, including Property Brothers at Home (2014), Property Brothers at Home on the Ranch, Buying and Selling (2012) and Brother vs.
Brother (2013), all starring the Scott brothers. The Scott brothers were born and raised in Vancouver, Canada along with their older Brother J. D. Scott, who has also appeared on their television shows. Jonathan has an extensive history in acting and performance arts. His passion for entertaining started at the young age of 7 when he began performing improv and in small theatre productions.
Jonathan Silver Scott is an entrepreneur, entertainer and television personality. Jonathan and his identical twin brother, Drew Scott, have co-hosted the popular HGTV television show Property Brothers (2011) since it started filming in 2009.
In 2011, Jonathan and Drew founded the Producers Ball, an annual gala held during the Toronto International Film Festival that honors producers behind film, television and digital production.
While filming Karma Inc. (2010), Jonathan went out in full costume to run an errand and the camera crews followed to film a spoof of Criss Angel Mindfreak (2005) while Jonathan performed random magic tricks at the mall.

Around 2004, they became heavily involved behind the scenes, producing and promoting independent film projects. Drew and Jonathan founded their own independent production company that would later be known as Scott Brothers Entertainment and began producing multi-genre content. To help fund their production projects, they created Scott Real Estate-which grew into a very successful company helping clients buy, sell & renovate real estate. The brothers were then approached to do what they do on TV in a new show concept called Property Brothers. Its resounding success quickly led to several spin-offs, three of which are produced by their own Scott Brothers Entertainment: Brother vs Brother, Property Brothers at Home and Property Brothers at Home on the Ranch. With award-winning and ratings record breaking series, the powerhouse producers continue to expand their reach behind the scenes as executive producers of many new series starring other talent.
Became childhood friends with Tyler Labine, when Labine moved from Ontario to British Columbia. Later the pair worked together on Breaker High (1997) (also starring Ryan Gosling).
Has a collection of antique swords. Bought his first three swords at age 10, while on a family trip to Scotland; two broad swords and a Claymore (types of swords used in the movie Braveheart (1995)).
