Kelly was an official selection of the 2011 Hell's Kitchen Film Festival, NYC.
"Jackin' Carlos" won the Silver Award at the Jam Fest Indie Film Festival in 2011. The short film "Un Amor Ilicito" written by Christina Chu and directed by Julius B. Kelly won top honors at the 5th Annual North Hudson International Short Film Festival. The Sunny Team was featured in "The Hudson Reporter" after their win at the 5th Annual North Hudson International Short Film Festival.
Julius was awarded the Iago Award for Director and Writer (2010 JamFest Indie Film Festival) for the film "Forgiveness".
The film was also awarded the Silver Award for Short Drama at the 2010 JamFest Indie Film Festival.
