Jun Hong Lu

In August 2016, Lu stated that, "We want the world to be filled with compassion; we want love to spread to all over the globe; we want countries to be well; we want the people to be well; we want every family to be well - this is Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door. Let every one of us be well; let every family be well; let our society be well; let our country be well - this is Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door."

On 31 March 2014, Lu was awarded Honorary visiting professor by the University of Siena, Italy. The visiting professorship is under the Master Program in Global Governance and Cultural Diplomacy of the University of Siena.

“Yearbook of Who's Who of China 2014" lists people in various fields who have made outstanding contributions to China. It is approved for publication by China's General Administration of Press and Publication. The yearbook is published annually. It is the only official publication in China that lists prominent Chinese individuals in the form of a yearbook. The 2014 edition contains detailed biographical information about people in various fields who have made an impact on Chinese life in 2014. In addition to Chinese President Xi Jinping, Jun Hong Lu is also featured in the 2014 edition. Other featured subjects include leading people from the Chinese Communist Party and other political parties, government bodies, and the Army.

On 26 March 2014 in Washington, DC, Master Lu attended a global summit on world peace as a keynote speaker in the US Congress. He was awarded the title of " World Peace Ambassador " at the summit. Master Lu pointed out that, the dream of a peaceful world could only be realised if we treat each other with compassion, and show kindness to our communities.

Master Lu has written over 30 books about Guan Yin Citta teaching and all of them are available for free, not for sale. Some of his books were being translated into English, French, Spanish and German. There are a few series of publications by Master Lu, one of his series – Words of Wisdom, now has 7 bilingual volumes. All publications are free for online reading and download.

In 2013, Jun Hong Lu, with his team from the Australian Chinese Buddhist Research Centre, had organised a charity event to raise funds for Tibetan students with financial difficulties. In 2014, Jun Hong Lu established the Australia Oriental Media Buddhist Charity Association (AOMB). AOMB reaches out to people suffering from mental illnesses, raises money for adults and children with disabilities and organises charitable events to support disaster relief efforts around the world.

Lu create an organization in 2010 and publicizes his teaching called Guan Yin Citta (Chinese: 觀世音菩薩心靈法門). Since 2010, in response to the invitations from Buddhist followers around the globe, Lu and his Propagating Team have organised public talks in many countries and regions including major cities in Australia; New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Boston in the United States; and Toronto and Vancouver in Canada. Brussel in Belgium and Madrid in Spain and Rome in Italy. Lu also gave talks in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, UK, France, Germany, Denmark, Thailand, New Zealand, and Taiwan. Every Dharma Convention held by Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door is of free entrance to all. Likewise, discipleship initiation ceremony is conducted completely free of charge. In December 2013 Lu was invited to give a speech at Institute for Cultural Diplomacy ( ICD) in recognition of Jun Hong Lu's contribution to the international community.
