Timeline
During the 2017-18 NWHL season, Fratkin joined the Boston Pride, the third team in her NWHL career. During the 2019-20 NWHL season, and Fratkin's third season with the Boston Pride, Fratkin was named NWHL Defender of the Year. For the third time, Fratkin was selected to the 2020 NWHL All Star Game. Fratkin also won the hardest shot competition, with a winning shot of 76mph.
Fratkin was selected to participate in the 1st NWHL All-Star Game, which took place on January 24, 2016 at Harbor Center in Buffalo, New York. In February 2016, she was the highest paid Canadian in the league, at $20,000. That season, she led the NWHL in most points by a defenseman, with 17.
In April 2016, she signed with the New York Riveters. Fratkin was again an All Star in 2016-17.
On November 14, 2015, Fratkin was named the assistant captain of the Connecticut Whale. On December 31, Fratkin was one of three Connecticut Whale players (including Kate Buesser and Shannon Doyle) who were loaned to the Boston Pride. The three donned the Pride jerseys for one day and participated in the 2015 Women's Winter Classic, the first outdoor professional women's hockey game.
During the 2015-16 season, Fratkin served as an analytics intern with the New York Islanders.
Selected in the 5th round of the 2014 CWHL Draft, Fratkin played for the Boston Blades of the Canadian Women's Hockey League during the 2014–15 season, accumulating eight points in 22 games played. She competed in all postseason games, and helped the Blades capture the 2015 Clarkson Cup.
At the NCAA level, Fratkin accumulated 66 points with the Boston University Terriers women's ice hockey program, she was a 2013-14 New England Division I All-Star and Hockey East First-Team All-Star, as she studied at the university's College of Communication. With Canada's U22/Development Team, she earned a gold medal at the 2015 Nations Cup in Germany.
