Kate Jackson is an American actress best known for her roles in the television series Charlie's Angels and Scarecrow and Mrs. King. She was born on October 29, 1948 in Birmingham, Alabama.
Jackson began her career in the late 1960s, appearing in guest roles on television series such as Dark Shadows and The Mod Squad. She rose to fame in 1976 when she was cast as Sabrina Duncan in the hit television series Charlie's Angels. She starred in the show for three seasons, until it was cancelled in 1981.
In 1983, Jackson starred in the television series Scarecrow and Mrs. King, playing the role of Amanda King. She starred in the show for four seasons, until it was cancelled in 1987.
Jackson has also appeared in several films, including The Shadow Box (1980), Making Love (1982), and Loverboy (1989).
Jackson has been married twice. She was married to actor Andrew Stevens from 1978 to 1981, and to Tom Hart from 1993 to 1996. She has one daughter, actress A.J. Langer.

In May 2010, Jackson filed a lawsuit against her financial advisor, Richard B. Francis, claiming his actions cost Jackson more than $3 million and brought her to financial ruin. In December 2010, the parties reached an undisclosed settlement.
