Katee Sackhoff is an American actress best known for her roles as Kara "Starbuck" Thrace on the Sci Fi Channel's television program Battlestar Galactica, the voice of Bitch Pudding on Robot Chicken, and as Dahl in the feature film Riddick.
Sackhoff was born in Portland, Oregon, and grew up in St. Helens, Oregon. She began acting at an early age, appearing in a number of local theater productions. She graduated from Sunset High School in Beaverton in 1998. She then attended the University of Oregon and studied acting at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
Sackhoff made her acting debut in the television movie Fifteen and Pregnant in 1998. She then had a recurring role as Nell Bickford in the television series The Education of Max Bickford. She also had a recurring role as Detective Adrianne Lesniak on the television series Cold Case.
In 2004, Sackhoff was cast as Kara "Starbuck" Thrace in the Sci Fi Channel's television program Battlestar Galactica. She played the role for four seasons until the series ended in 2009. She also provided the voice of Bitch Pudding in the animated series Robot Chicken from 2005 to 2013.
