Kerk Kim Hock is a Malaysian politician and mechanical engineer who has served as the Member of Parliament for the Alor Gajah constituency since 2008. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) and is currently the Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry. Kerk Kim Hock was born on 29 July 1956 in Malacca, Malaysia. He graduated from the University of Malaya with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1981. He then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Hull in the United Kingdom. Kerk Kim Hock began his political career in 2004 when he was appointed as the Member of Parliament for the Alor Gajah constituency. He was re-elected in 2008 and 2013. In 2018, he was appointed as the Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry. Kerk Kim Hock is married to Datin Seri Dr. Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali and they have two children.
